Screenit functions as a default phone dialer and therefore requires certain system permissions to deliver its core features.

PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS – To detect outgoing calls and enable smart number lookup and IVR functionality.
READ_CALL_LOG – To display call history locally within the app for user convenience.
CALL_PHONE – To allow users to make phone calls directly from the Screenit dialer.
READ_CONTACTS (optional) – To display contact names and details during calls.

These permissions are used strictly to provide app functionality and are never abused for tracking or surveillance purposes.

3. Information We Collect

a) Call & Dialer Information

Outgoing phone numbers are temporarily processed in real time for IVR and service lookup.
Call logs are accessed only to display call history on your device.

We do not:

Record phone calls
Store call logs on external servers
Listen to or analyze call audio

b) User-Generated Video Content

If you upload or select videos for outgoing calls, incoming calls, or video caller tunes, this content is used solely to provide visual call features within Screenit.

4. How We Use Your Information

Screenit uses collected information only for legitimate app operations, including:

Providing default dialer and call screen functionality
Delivering IVR-based call routing and automation
Displaying video overlays during incoming and outgoing calls
Improving app performance, stability, and user experience

5. Data Storage & Retention

Screenit processes most data in real time and does not permanently store sensitive user data. Any temporary data used for processing is discarded immediately after use.
